At Beech Tree Child Care, we are committed to providing the highest quality childcare services in the UK. Our experienced staff members are dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged between 6 weeks to preschool. We offer a wide range of activities and activities, designed to stimulate learning and development in a fun and engaging way. Admissions

We welcome all families at Beech Tree Childcare. Choosing a nursery is one of the most difficult decisions you will make. Come and meet us, talk with us and look around our setting. 

At Beech Tree Childcare we are able to offer 2 year old funded hours, Universal 3 and 4 year old funded hours, Extended 3 and 4 year old funded hours. We are also able to access Early Years Pupil Premium.

Settling In Process

We understand that settling in is a critical phase not only for new children but especially for parents who are also on this new journey.

Under COVID conditions it has been hard to be as interactive as we would like with new parents, but please see the process and responsibilities below, which we hope will help your childs transition go smoothly.

The team lead for each room is to settle all new children. 

They will be their key person for the 1st 6 weeks whilst the child is settling in.

They will be responsible for:
• Settling in the child.
• Parent partnership.
• Ensuring the learning journal is ready for the new child

Summative assessment starting points on 3 prime areas from parent/carer.
Child record form completed at 1st settling in.

Communication and language sheet completed within the first 6 weeks.

First 5 settling in sheets with parent/carer feedback.

First 6 weeks sheet with parent/carer feedback.

They will also be responsible for parent/carer handover at end of sessions to ensure feedback on their session is given and any problems dealt with immediately.

The team lead key person will be responsible for ensuring a smooth transition to the child’s permanent key person and introducing them to the parent/carer with the role of the key person.

Fees

At Beech Tree Childcare we offer flexible contracted hours and charge by the hour, not by the session. Our current hourly rate is £7.00 per hour/£5.50 per sibling. Meals can be provided at Beech Tree Childcare at a cost of £3.50 per meal. All children must attend a minimum of 11 hours per week. 

Deposit

To reserve a place for your child we take a £100 deposit which is deducted from your final invoice.

Applying for funded childcare for 9-month-olds, 2-year-old, and 3/4-year-olds

Funded entitlement to childcare is provided by the government for 9-month-olds and 2-year-olds for eligible parents. Children can use up to 570 hours each year, or a maximum of 15 hours over 38 weeks. At Beech Tree Childcare we are an all year round setting so stretch the government funding as 11 hours per week over the 51 weeks of the year we are open. Funded hours can be used between 10.00am-3.30pm Monday-Friday.

Applying for funded childcare for 3/4-year-olds

Find how to get funded childcare for your 3- or 4-year-old. Fundedentitlement to childcare is provided by the government for all 3- and 4-year-olds. It allows access to funded, excellent quality, flexible early education and childcare through a pre-school, nursery or childminder that is registered to offer funded places.

Universal funded entitlement – For all 3- and 4-year-olds. Children can use up to 570 hours each year, or a maximum of 15 hours over 38 weeks.

Extended fundedentitlement (also known as 30 hours funded childcare) – For eligible working parents of 3- and 4-year-olds. Children can use an additional 570 hours each year, or a maximum of 30 hours per week over 38 weeks (1140 hours in total). If the funding is spread over a longer period, the number of hours taken per week would be reduced. Parents must apply online to the government to confirm their eligibility.

A child moving to reside in England from another country is entitled to universal funded entitlement on the same basis as any other child, regardless of whether they have British citizenship

Funded entitlement to childcare is provided by the Government. It allows some 2 year olds access to funded, good quality, flexible early education or childcare.

Children can use up to 570 hours each year, or a maximum of 15 hours over 38 weeks, from a pre-school, nursery or an accredited childminder who are registered to offer funded places.

The childcare provider must be rated ‘Satisfactory’, ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ in their most recent Ofsted report to be authorised to offer funded childcare.

Your childcare provider shouldn’t charge you as the entitlement is for a funded place rather than a subsidy towards your fees. However, they can set their own rates for any additional time or services that you take. They should let you know in advance what you will be expected to pay.
